Move like an animal

This Science video gets pupils moving as they explore how different animals travel in their habitats. Through fun, repetitive actions like stomping, swinging, waddling, jumping, yawning, and running, learners imitate the movements of animals such as elephants, monkeys, penguins, kangaroos, sloths, and cheetahs. This active approach supports early understanding of animal behaviours and physical features.

This video is part of Kapow Primary’s Science resources. In the Animal adventures unit, this lesson encourages imaginative play while developing scientific thinking, observation, and gross motor skills.
