Remembrance Day

This video helps children in Key Stage 2 understand why Remembrance Day is marked each year. They learn how and why people remember those affected by war, including by wearing poppies, observing a two-minute silence and attending ceremonies.

This video is part of Kapow History’s Whole school Remembrance collection.  It helps children gain a greater understanding of the people who contributed to the war effort.
