Caring for our world

This Kapow pupil video is part of the Kapow Science scheme of work. It is designed for pupils and introduces the vital role of conservationists – people who work to protect our planet and the amazing life it holds. The video explores how human actions like deforestation, pollution, and climate change can harm nature, and how conservationists respond by restoring habitats, reducing pollution, and helping endangered species. Pupils will learn how even small actions like recycling or planting trees can make a big difference. The video also highlights the inspiring efforts of young environmental activist Greta Thunberg, showing how anyone can help care for our world.

The video is designed to be shown to pupils as part of Science, key stage 2, Year 4, Living things: Classification and changing habitats, Lesson 5: Human impacts on habitats
