Computer commands introduction

This Computing video introduces the pupils to the concept of commands. It explains that commands are single actions that usually begin with a verb and shows how they tell people, animals and computers what to do. The video explores different ways commands can be given to computers, such as through touch, voice, buttons or typing. It highlights that computers will always follow the commands they receive, even if those commands are incorrect. It reinforces the importance of giving accurate commands to ensure computers behave as expected.

This video is part of Kapow Primary’s Computing, Year 1 videos.
