Compass Song: North, East, South, West
In this Geography video, the children learn and remember the four cardinal compass points: north, east, south and west. Through repeated rhythms and simple lyrics, the children are encouraged to sing along, reinforcing directional language through music and movement.
The video is ideal for use as a warm-up before mapwork or outdoor Geography activities, supporting the development of spatial awareness in a fun and engaging way. It helps the children learn compass directions through rhythm and repetition, strengthening their understanding of geographical language and how to use it when exploring maps and places.
This video is part of Kapow Primary’s Geography song videos, supporting young learners in exploring geographical concepts in a musical and engaging way.
