Creating a musical learning experience part 2
This Music video explores techniques to help Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) children experiment with vocal sounds and link their voice to simple visual notation. It demonstrates how children can follow the shape of a sound wave using their fingers and bodies, supporting early understanding of pitch and control. Teachers are guided on non-verbal conducting techniques, verbal cues such as “Ready, steady, off we go”, and strategies to reinforce pitch matching and group performance through songs and symbols.
