This document consolidates the statutory guidance statements from Development Matters and the Early Learning Goals (ELGs) for Reception, illustrating how Kapow Primary units across the primary curriculum subjects support the achievement of these goals.

The purpose is to enable planning to begin with the EYFS framework. By presenting all the Reception-level EYFS statements in one place and mapping them to the relevant Kapow Primary units, this document allows teachers to check coverage, identify how different units can contribute towards the goals and make informed choices about which units to use and when.
