A Knowledge organiser that captures the essential knowledge and skills learnt throughout the unit RSE and PSHE, Year 1, Citizenship.

 

This RSE and PSHE resource is designed to support the pupils as they learn about their roles and responsibilities within a community. It introduces key vocabulary such as democracy, responsibility, rule, vote, and fairness, helping the pupils understand concepts related to decision-making, equality, and caring for others. The pupils will also explore how rules help keep people safe and why treating everyone with kindness and respect is important.

This spreadsheet is suitable for use with the original Kapow Primary Art and design scheme (pre- September 2022). We recommend that schools no longer use this scheme and transition to our revised Art scheme.

Key terminology such as ‘animation’, ‘sound effect’, and ‘transition’ is highlighted to strengthen understanding, while pupils are encouraged to plan, create, and evaluate a final digital product.
