Football passing skills

This Kapow pupil video is part of the Kapow PE scheme of work. It is designed for pupils and teaches how to pass and receive the ball with accuracy and control. The video begins with passing using the inside of the foot, pointing the planted foot towards the target and angling the kicking foot outwards before swinging it through to push the ball forward. Pupils then learn to receive by adopting an open body position, stepping towards the ball, and cushioning it with the inside of the foot. They are encouraged to practise using both feet to improve their passing skills and first touch.

The video is designed to be shown to pupils as part of Physical education, key stage 2, KS2, Football, Lesson 3: Passing and receiving
