Short and long passes

This Kapow pupil video is part of the Kapow PE scheme of work. It is designed for pupils and focuses on different types of football passes to help teams keep possession. The video begins with short passes using the inside of the foot, encouraging pupils to practise with both feet to be ready for any situation. Pupils then explore passing with the outside of the foot to create quicker, first-time balls. The lesson continues with longer passes, using the top of the foot to strike just under the middle of the ball. Finally, pupils learn how to lift the ball by striking the underside, helping it travel further and higher when needed.

The video is designed to be shown to pupils as part of Physical education, key stage 2, KS2, Football, Lesson 2: Different passes
