Adaptive teaching
Pupils needing support
Should use the Knowledge organiser to help remember what each Bee-Bot command does; could correct mistakes by dragging the digital Bee-Bot to the correct space before reprogramming; should be reminded to check the previous set of commands if the Bee-Bot does not behave as expected.
Pupils working at greater depth
Should add a ‘miss a go’ rule to their ‘Snakes and Ladders’ game when they make a programming error; should challenge themselves to create more efficient routes using fewer steps or repeating command sequences; could explain how simplifying or reordering instructions made their program more efficient.
