Cat Lamin
Cat was a committed primary school teacher for twelve years. After starting her independent consultancy ‘Crossover Solutions’ she has travelled to Argentina, Brazil and America to share her wealth of knowledge of computer science with other teachers. Her enjoyment for the subject has also won her a John Pinner Award for service to the Python community and a shortlist entry for European Digital Woman of the year in the European Ada Awards.
Cat has created engaging topics that range from an introduction to Computing for KS1 pupils to a KS2 lesson on the first computer and how it cracked the Enigma code. Cat has also worked on our online safety lessons that form part of our RSE and PSHE resources
