Cat Lamin
Cat is a former primary school teacher with 12 years of teaching experience. She has a passion for coding and computer science and specialises in supporting teachers who are getting started on their journey into using technology in the classroom. Cat has worked on a number of computing schemes both in the UK and abroad including for Kapow, Cambridge University Press & Assessment and BBC Bitesize Computing as well as presenting at a number of events and live lessons on behalf of Google for Education in the UK and globally. She has been invited to speak about her experiences teaching computer science around the world including in Brazil, Argentina and the US. Cat is passionate about talking about equality, stereotypes and mental health as well as supporting the teaching of computer science. She has recently been diagnosed with ADHD, which has made everything make a lot more sense.
