Providing an overview of D&T teaching across the school, Kapow Primary’s comprehensive, condensed long-term plan for Design and technology ensures that schools are able to fulfil the D&T national curriculum requirements in just 3 units per year.
As with our standard D&T scheme, the curriculum is organised around six key areas (Structures, Mechanisms, Textiles, Electrical Systems, Digital World, and Cooking and Nutrition) and four key strands (Design, Make, Evaluate, and Technical Knowledge), with each unit hyperlinked and a brief overview provided.
