Adaptive teaching
Pupils needing extra support:
- Could create their melodic loop using only two of the suggested notes (for example, D and A) to help keep the pattern simple and repeating.
- Could perform the rhythmic clapping loop while another member of the group plays the melody to focus on keeping the rhythm steady.
Pupils working at greater depth:
- Should add flair to their performance by including variation, such as changing dynamics or alternating between clapping and playing.
- Should create a loop using all four suggested notes while keeping the rhythm steady.
