Adaptive teaching
Pupils needing extra support:
- Could use only the notes C, D and E for their motifs.
- Could be encouraged to use one-syllable words, for example, ‘I am Gloop. I am big.’
Pupils working at greater depth:
- Should complete two contrasting motifs, justifying the notes they have used.
- Could notate their ideas down using the Activity: Notating motifs.
