How are they feeling?
This PSHE video helps children to recognise how emotions and feelings can be shown through facial expressions and body language. Through simple examples, children see that clues such as a smile, frown, crossed arms or a lowered head and shoulders can help us guess how someone might be feeling.
The video highlights that everyone shows their feelings in different ways. Children are encouraged to look carefully at what is happening, use feeling words to describe what they notice and check their ideas by asking kind questions and listening to the answer.
This video is part of Kapow Primary’s RSE & PSHE resources, supporting children in developing empathy, emotional awareness and respectful communication.
