Pupils needing extra support

Should have a copy of the Resource: Creation story (support) to follow rather than reading from the screen; should refer to the Presentation: Bad things in the world when completing the Activity: What is not good?; could take on the role of investigator or prober during the discussion activity.

Pupils working at greater depth

Should be encouraged to explain why some images in the Presentation: What causes suffering? could be considered to be indirectly caused by human actions; could identify indirect consequences of the events, for example, if a hurricane destroys a home, the indirect consequence may be that the family has to move away and friendships are also lost.
