Lesson plan

1. Recap and recall

Display the Presentation: Fruit baskets and name the fruits on the screen in English. Draw attention to the fig, which is a new item for this lesson. Establish that there are two baskets, to hold masculine and feminine fruit nouns.

Talking in pairs, challenge the children to decide which words go into each basket and which require more information before making a decision, such as checking a dictionary. Use the '+' button to reveal the fruit names as needed.

Take feedback and invite volunteers to look up and check any items before clicking the icon to reveal the answers.
