Lesson plan
Organise the children into groups of three and give each group a dice and a piece of paper. The children each throw the dice in turns to create a three-digit number, which they should write down and then work out what the number is in French. Explain that the children will need to decide who is throwing for the hundreds figure, who for the tens figure and who for the units figure.
Circulate to check how each group is doing. Invite groups to read out their number in English, which you can write down on the board, and then to give the number in French. Ask the class to confirm that the number is correct.
