Units

In Key stage 1, children build skills across Drawing, Painting and mixed media, Sculpture and 3D, and Craft and design. We recommend starting with Drawing each year, but other units can be taught in any order, as progression is planned across year groups and key stages. Lessons build on EYFS by introducing new techniques, developing children’s own ideas, and increasing opportunities for reflection while exploring a range of artists.
