Lesson plan
Arrange the class into groups of four and number the pupils in each group from one to four. Provide each group with the Resource:Knowledge organiser: Science - Mixtures and separation (one per group) and the Resource:Knowledge organiser: Science - Properties and changes (one per group). Explain the rules of the game:
Ask pupil one to sit facing their group with their back to the board.
- Display slide 1 of the Presentation: Revision game.
- Ask pupils two, three and four to describe the keyword to pupil one (they can use the Knowledge organiser to help them).
Instruct player one to guess until they either get the correct word or want to pass.
Invite the players to swap so pupil two takes the place of pupil one with their back to the board.
Display slide 2 and repeat until all the pupils have had two turns and all ten words have been guessed.
