1. Recap and recall
Spelling practice
Display slide 1 of the Presentation: Pets and colours and hand out the whiteboards and pens. Invite the children to solve the pet anagrams by spelling each pet name correctly. Encourage the children to say each word aloud as they write. Gather responses and click to reveal each of the correct spellings.
Display slide 2 and repeat with the colour words.
