1. Recap and recall
Before starting this unit, you might want to check the children can recall:
- The phonemes a, o, u, z and ñ from Spanish, Y3/4 (A), Greetings with puppets and Spanish, Y3/4 (A), Spanish numbers and ages. These can be revised using the Phonics videos, as needed.
- The indefinite article for a masculine noun is un.
Phonics recall and pronunciation
Display the Presentation: Pronunciation and ask the children to recall the phonic sounds for the letters 'o', 'a' and 'z' in Spanish.
