Lesson plan
1. Recap and recall
Display the Presentation: Scoring digestion and diet keywords. Explain to the children that the number on each letter tile shows its score. The children can calculate the 'score' of a word by totalling the worth of the letters in it. Model an example, such as 'prey' = p + r + e + y = 4 + 1 + 1 + 4 = 10.
Ask the children to work in pairs to find the highest-scoring word they have learnt through this topic.
