Predict and recall vocabulary
Display the Presentation: Describing hair and faces and hand out the whiteboards and pens. In pairs, ask the children to predict words and phrases that could describe each of the four people featured on the slide. Invite the children to record their ideas on their whiteboards.
Encourage children who have completed Y5/6 (A): Unit 2: Spanish portraits to describe different facial features, others can focus on adjectives of colour, size or character.
