Before starting this unit, you might want to check that children can recall:

  • An adjective ending can change, normally to agree with the gender of the noun it describes. For example a small dog is un perro pequeño, but a small cow is una vaca pequeña.

Children in Year 6 may also recall:

  • How to justify an opinion or action, using conjunction porque es... - because it is...
