Y3/4 (B): Lesson 1: Where is the Amazon rainforest?

Before starting this unit, check that the children can recall:

• Some colour adjectives (see Spanish, Year 3/4 (B), Shapes and colours in Spanish).
• That vivo en… - I live in..., is followed by a place name or noun with an article.

Children in Year 4 may also recall:

• Adjectives should agree with the gender of the noun they describe (see Spanish, Year 3/4 (A), Pets and colours in Spanish).
• How to use me gusta + [infinitive verb] to talk about things they like to do.
• Spanish is spoken in countries in Central and South America (see Spanish, Year 3, Journey around Latin America).
