Adaptive teaching
Pupils who need support:
- Could be given verbal instructions rather than being physically led by their partner during the trust walk in the Attention grabber.
- Should use the Resource: Emotions and feelings when discussing how the characters may have felt during the Main event.
- Could ndraw rather than write their idea for a trust building action on the Activity: My trust leaf.
Pupils working at greater depth:
- Should reflect on on how one bad choice which breaks a friend’s trust would be more easily solved or forgiven because there is lots of trust built over time during the Presentation: Friendship case files in the Main event.
- Could talk with their partner about the following: Should you always forgive? during the discussions in the Main event.
- Could link their learning from the previous lessons by discussing the following: How does self-respect and respect for others help you build trust? during the Main event.
