Adaptive teaching
Pupils needing support:
- Could opt out and observe during the personal bubble activity in the Main event.
- Should refer to the sentence starters on the Presentation: Communicating personal boundaries when completing the Resource: Communicating personal boundaries.
- Could use different coloured cards to show level of comfort during the Main event, e.g. green = comfortable, yellow = unsure, red = not comfortable.
Pupils working at greater depth:
- Could create their own ‘Would you rather’ statements during the Main event.
- Could show more than one way to communicate a boundary clearly and kindly.
- Should suggest the character shares an alternative action when communicating their personal boundary, e.g. Jayden tells Priya he does not like being patted on the back and says he likes to give a high five instead.
