Adaptive teaching
Pupils needing support:
- Should use the Resource: Word bank as a prompt in the Activity: Scenarios.
- Could discuss or draw what the baby needs and how the scenario might affect the parent or carer in the Activity: Scenarios.
Pupils working at greater depth:
- Should explain how different people can support parents and carers in the Main event.
- Could consider what the parent or carer should do in each scenario and write a plan of action on the Activity: Scenarios.
- Could discuss how the responsibilities and challenges of parenting might differ for a single parent or carer compared with a family with two parents or carers in the Main event.
