Adaptive teaching
Pupils needing extra support:
- Could refer to the Resource: Emotions and feelings during the Presentation: Warnings signs.
- Could be given hand gestures to help them remember stop, pause and rewind.
- Could be taught the turtle tuck calming strategy before or after the lesson using the Resource: Turtle tuck.
Pupils working at greater depth:
- Should explain why pausing or rewinding helps solve disagreements more kindly, giving examples of how different choices could change the outcome.
- Could create their own disagreement scenarios to resolve.
- When taking the role of remote control, could make suggestions as to how the disagreement could be solved
