Pupils needing extra support:

  • Could visit the different parts of the school to observe behaviour before the lesson (or be shown the Presentation: Our school).
  • Could have the story from the Resource: A day at school read to them before the lesson.
  • Could work in a small group in the collaborative building activity.

Pupils working at greater depth:

  • Should explain why people behave differently depending on where they are.
  • Could give examples of kind and polite words and phrases the children could use during the collaborative building.
