Five-minute challenge
Display slide 1 of the Presentation: Transport words and images (used in the last lesson).
Allow the children five minutes to say or write in French as many of the types of transport they can remember. Challenge the class to add the indefinite article un (for masculine nouns) or une (for feminine nouns).
Click through slides 1-4 to check answers. Play the audio files and invite the children to repeat the words to embed sound-spelling links.
