Lesson plan

1. Recap and recall

Use the flash cards from the Activity: Smiley face flash cards (used in Lesson 3) and hold cards up in a random order saying for each, Comment ça va ? – how are you?

Ask the class or individuals to say the answers aloud.

Once you have covered each of the flash cards, and if there is time, extend the activity by handing the cards to the person who guessed correctly and allow them to choose a card, hold it up to the rest of the class and ask, Comment ça va ? – how are you? The exercise is then repeated so the person guessing correctly can choose the next card and so on.
