Lesson plan
Arrange the children into pairs and ask the children if they can remember how to ask somebody when their birthday is and how to answer. Explain to the children that they need to ask each other when their birthday is using the question below. Ask the children to find a different partner and ask them the same question.
Bonjour + [name]. Quelle est la date de ton anniversaire ? - Hello + [name]. When is your birthday?
Encourage the children to answer in the following format:
Bonjour [Monsieur/Madame] +[name].Mon anniversaire c'est le + [onze] + [mars] - Hello [name]. My birthday is the [eleventh] + [of March].
Take feedback from the children, encouraging them to say the correct questions and answers.
