Display slide 1 of the Presentation: A French friend.
There are mistakes in each word and phrase. Invite the children to write the correct version on a mini whiteboard. Point out that all of the letters they need to use are shown on the slide and can be used more than once. Children needing support could refer to the Knowledge organiser: This is me (see Print in advance). Allow the class feedback responses. Click on the blue buttons to display the answers.
