Lesson plan
1. Recap and recall
Hand out the flashcards from the Activity: Feelings flashcards (see Print in advance). Choose from one of the activities:
- Hold up a card at random and ask the class Ça va ? - How are you? Let the class use the Knowledge organiser: This is me to locate the correct phrase and write it on a mini whiteboard, or take responses from volunteers.
- Hold up a flash card. When a pupil says the correct phrase, remove that card and hand the remaining cards to the pupil. The pupil then chooses a card, holds it up to the rest of the class, and asks, Ça va ? - How are you? When the phrase on the card is said correctly, the card is removed, and the next pupil chooses a card. Repeat until all of the cards have been said correctly.
