1. Recap and recall

Before starting this unit, ensure pupils can recall the vocabulary and meaning of techniques to create 3D forms, such as:

  • Sculpting.

  • Twisting and looping.

Ask the children to think of as many materials as they can that can be used to create a sculpture. Take answers and discuss how each material can be changed or shaped.
