Lesson plan
As this is the first unit in Key stage 1, there is no knowledge to recap with the children.
You may wish to ask the children to recall any creative projects they worked on in EYFS: Reception. A craft activity would be ideal; some examples from Kapow Primary units could be: Art and design, EYFS Reception, Craft and design: Let's get crafty or Art and design, EYFS Reception: Seasonal crafts.
