1. Recap and recall
Explain that the children will look closely at the picture to help them remember what they learnt about the Christmas story. Display the Presentation: In the spotlight. Read question one aloud and allow time for the children to discuss it with a partner. Take feedback before moving on. Repeat this process for questions two and three, giving time for discussion and sharing after each one.
