Lesson plan
1. Recap and recall
Hand out a whiteboard and pen per pupil.
Display the Presentation: School features. Use slides 5-8 to upload and display photographs from your school's grounds (alternatively share any relevant image or web page on the interactive whiteboard).
As each feature is displayed, ask the children to draw a symbol that could be used to represent the feature on a map.
