Lesson plan
Working in table groups, ask the children to come up with a sentence to describe each person in their group using the following structure:
Il/Elle a les cheveux […] et les yeux […]. Il/Elle est[characteristic]. Il/Elle s’appelle […].
He/She has [...] hair and [...] eyes. He/She is [characteristic]. He/She is called [...].
For the characteristic, the children should choose one of the personality characteristics:
travailleur, travailleuse - hard-workingsportif, sportive - sporty
fort, forte - strong
poli, polie - polite
heureux, heureuse - happy
sérieux, sérieuse - serious
Allow the children time to develop their sentences, either verbally or writing on whiteboards, then ask for volunteers to share.
