Vocabulary recall
On the interactive board write the following phonemes: eu, oi, in, ui, on, ou.
In pairs, children write down five number words from the last lesson and underline the phonemes they contain.
Children share feedback. Answers should include deux, trois, cinq, huit, neuf.onze, douze.
Challenge the class to recall other words in French with these letters. Answers could include words learned in the previous unit (see link: French y3/4- This is me)such as bonsoir, and returning pupils may recall other words such as fruits.
