Adaptive teaching

Pupils needing extra support

Could cut out and stick the pictures and words onto sugar paper in the Activity: Action; could  agree on actions to help remember the new verbs.

Pupils working at greater depth

Could be encouraged to research a wide range of additional verbs from the dictionary to establish the most common infinitive endings; should be encouraged to use dictionaries to find an extra French verb for each column in the sorting activity.
