1. Recap and recall
1. Begin by counting to twenty; can pupils continue beyond twenty, remembering how vingt-et-un uses 'and', unlike the remainder of the twenty numbers?
2. Call out a number between 1 - 31. Ask the children to write the number in digits on their whiteboards. Make a note of individuals who may need support with numbers during the lesson.
