Lesson plan

1. Recap and recall

This activity revisits learning from KS1, such as Computing, Year 2, Computing systems: Using computers 2, to help the children recall key knowledge.

Group the children into threes and hand out the Resource: Device dice (pre-made, one set of seven dice per group – see Teacher knowledge).

Remind the children that a computer is an electronic device that can follow instructions. Ask them to look at the words and images on the dice and discuss:
