Lesson plan

1. Recap and recall

As this is the first Textiles unit in Key stage 1, there is no knowledge to recap with the children. In EYFS (Reception), the children may have learnt to:

  • Weave paper and other materials.

  • Thread large plastic needles.

  • Make colour patterns with weaving.
