Adaptive teaching

Pupils needing extra support

Should begin sentence building with the teacher’s support, with just one opinion at a time in the je form, for example, j’adore danser – I love dancing, to build confidence and understand how to construct the sentence.

Pupils working at greater depth

Should be challenged to work without the sheet as they become more confident, using different conjugations for the opinion verbs, for example, il adore – he adores, tu détestes – you hate.
