Adaptive teaching
Pupils needing extra support:
Should use the Activity: French football player profile to write their football player profile, missing out the speech bubble section unless they are confident enough to complete it; should use the Knowledge organiser to support with vocabulary choices and spelling; could record their work in an alternative way such as a presentation on the computer or using voice-recording technology.
Pupils working at greater depth:
Should complete the speech bubble section in the Activity: French football player profile to showcase some extended writing in French; should be encouraged to create their football player profile from scratch on plain paper; should be encouraged to present their work aloud to the class, concentrating on accurate pronunciation.
