Pupils should be taught to:
- Create and debug simple programs
- Use technology purposefully to create, organise, store, manipulate and retrieve digital content
Pupils needing extra support: Start with one button at a time or use the existing characters if it’s too abstract. Could be adapted so that children record an animal sound for each animal character instead of an instrument.
Pupils working at greater depth: Should be encouraged to add other visual clues to their musical instrument to show what it is doing. They can come up with ideas independently to improve this or work out how to implement a button movement to show music is playing.
